I have started on a series of Postcards that incorporate images with inspirational words that can either be mailed to someone, or just kept as a piece of art.
Im thinking of calling them Affirmailtions. I am hoping to make enough of them to take them to the Chase CornStock, and then later add them to the Etsy store Im hoping to get up and running by the end of August!
They incorporate bits of paper, paint, ducting tape (the shiny type for actual ducting) and machine sewing.
Just found your blog! your circle flower postcard reminds me so much of my work! Are they made out of fabric? Great work!
ReplyDeleteAmanda, Love your postcards, especially the top one. Sounds like you are busy, so am I, I'm getting ready for my biggest event of the year, Open Studio Tour. There are 230 artists involved in our county and it is over three weekends long. I'm in the middle of making polymer clay and tempered glass houses. They're pretty cute and very whimsical. By the time I'm through, I'll have a whole village. Happy Creating, Cindy
